Day 63 TAKS test day

Today was the TAKS (Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills) writing test for Ethan and these are my before and after TAKS test photos for today. TAKS is the mandatory state testing that all 3rd, 4th and 5th graders have to take. If you ask me, I think they should just do away with the testing completely.

Day 61 What yucky weather does

The satellite radio in my van was out all morning because of the cloudy, overcast, rainy weather.

Day 60 The spreading begins

Today we spread the mulch in the front yard...next weekend we'll do the back. It was a family project and both of the boys actually helped out quite a bit.

Day 59 Weekend work

Every year the local Boy Scouts sell mulch as a fundraiser. So, here's what was delivered to our house today. We'll start spreading it tomorrow. Fun times I tell ya.
