Day 180 Traffic

Nothing to exciting today. I was stuck sitting at this light through 2 cycles so I figured I'd just snap a shot of traffic.

Day 179 An addition to my garden

In CA we had these great pencil cactus plants that we took as clippings from my aunts garden. We brought some clippings when we moved here, but by the time the house was built and we could plant them they were too dried up. So, a few weeks ago, dh found a pencil cactus at the store and bought it for me. I finally got it planted and that was no easy task. The ground was so hard that I had to take a pick ax to it to dig the hole. But here it is. They grow really fast so I can't wait to see it in a few more weeks.

Day 178 FOR SALE!

For those that "know" me and are members of my mommy board you will know how much this for sale sign means to us. The house nextdoor is finally for sale. The family has not been there for about a year as they moved to FL for work. But, the house sat full of all of their stuff and they had people here and there living there, taking care of the place. To actually know that it's for sale and that they're not coming back is a relief.

Day 177 Pool boy

Ah, what fun...NOT! Dh took apart the pool equipment so that we could clean out all the filters and such. You can see one of the filters before being cleaned behind him and what one looks like partially cleaned. It was a big project (and the boys gave up helping) so dh and I finished up the task.

Day 176 How about some dinner with that attitude?

We go out to eat once a week (on Saturday) and tonight E decided to have an attitude at dinner and not eat anything. So here he is later in the evening (at home) eating his chicken strips and mashed potatoes from the restaurant.

Day 175 Strike!

Not the greatest photos, but I took them with my phone. At the end of the school year, the boys each brought home a card for one free game of bowling each day during the summer. We've only gone once so far, but I think we'll go again next week.

Day 174 Water Park Fun!

We love going to the local water park as you can tell from this picture of S. He was saying "awesome" as he got up. Nothing like a park close to home that only costs a few $'s per person.
