Day 58 Aaaahhhh Friday!

Weather permitting, we go to the community park after school on Fridays as do many of the boys friends. So, here they are today after school.

Day 57 E's turn at the orthodontist

I'm starting to think that we should have our own parking spot at the ortho office with as much as we're there. Anyway, here's E at his appointment today. He got his bottom space maintainer put in. I had an appointment too, but didn't think you wanted to see me in the chair again.

Day 56 Burning off some energy

The boys were burning off some extra energy when they got home from school, before they did their homework. S was embarassed because he fell so he's mad that I dared to take his photo.

Day 55 Camp Write a Lot

With the state writing test coming up next week, the 4th graders had a writing camp last week at school and today was their final celebration and the sharing of their stories. Here is E sitting next to the "camp fire" with his story.

Day 54 Finished!

I started this puzzle over the weekend and finished it this morning after I dropped the boys off at school. It has been a long time since I've done anything but kid puzzles so I bought myself a box of puzzles and this was the first one that I did. I really enjoyed doing it. Tomorrow I will start another.

Day 53 Sunday chores and then some fun

The boys stripping their beds and then a family bike ride (S and I were in front). I took the bike ride picture with my phone, so it's a bit blurry. The side thingy on S's bed is there so that his "friends" don't fall out of bed during the night.

Day 51 Woohoo...pizza night

We have pizza for dinner every Friday, but normally it's at home. Tonight we decided to go to a local place that has games and stuff for the kids (note the *Big Kid* in the middle...LOL) for a change of pace. Happy Friday everyone!

Day 50 Heading home from school

The boys wanted to ride their bikes home from school today so I drove to school with their bikes, locked them up, drove back home, got my bike and rode to school to meet them. We all rode home together...I was behind E on my bike when I took this photo.

Day 49 First sign of spring

Hooray for the first sign of spring. I noticed this little flower bud as I pulled into the driveway this afternoon.

The boys were out riding their bikes today after school so I took this photo from down the street. It's from the corner looking down into our cul-de-sac.

Day 47 On the news

The company that installed the lightning protection on our home last year called and asked if they could use our home to do an on location news report about protecting your home from severe weather. So, here are the meteorologist, the spokesperson for the company, an installer in the background and the camera man outside my home. I was interviewed a couple of times, but don't have a picture of myself in front of the camera. It will be aired sometime next week as it is severe weather awareness week next week.

Day 46 Boys at a birthday party

The boys went to a birthday party today for one of S's classmates and pretty much wore themselves out. Hello early to bed!

Just had to add this picture. I made homemade chicken soup with matzo balls today and this was just before it all went into the freezer.

Day 45 Muchness Grossness!

S made his own sandwich today...pb&j with bologna. He wanted me to post that it was my sandwich...ummm no doesn't look to appetizing to me. I settled for regular ole' pb&j.

Day 44 Rainy day games

Every Friday after school we go to the park (weather permitting) or have S's friend G over to play. Well, yesterday after school it was starting to rain so we came home and played Wii.

After cleaning up the toys from yesterday's photo (each of the boys owes me a chore now...any suggestions?) I decided to build the last of the cabinets I have for their playroom. Now they just have to decorate it. Onto laundry folding...uugghh!

Day 39 A lazy Sunday

Everyone (except me) spent the day in their pj's today. The boys spent most of the day playing upstairs (with no fighting).

Day 38 A glimpse of the weather today

It was such a beautiful day today I had to spend sometime outside.

Day 37 A day at school

A self portrait of me and my little man. I stopped into E's class this afternoon for a Chinese New Year celebration and then from there went to S's class to be their guest reader.

Day 36 Zzzzzzzzzzz

I had another picture planned for today, but I couldn't resist this one. Dh went into work this morning at 3am for an overseas conference call and this is him as of right now (1:47pm). I was in the middle of folding laundry on our bed when he came in to lie down. Too bad there's no sound on my camera...he's snoring pretty loud.

This was one of the goodies I made for the teachers and front office staff for the holidays. Since then, one of the Assistant Principals has been asking when I'm bringing more. Well, Ms. M...here they are.

Day 32 Sunday breakfast

Mmmmm good! Homemade pancakes for breakfast. I think today will be baking day...I've got banana bread, chocolate chip cookie bar and Oreo truffles planned for this afternoon.

We took the boys to a monster truck show tonight and they thought it was pretty cool.

Day 30 A home in the hood

This is a house in our neighborhood. I have no idea how many lots these people actually own, but the property is big and the pond with the fountain is part of their property.
